  Print spooler

ISSUE:
In Windows 2000 and Windows XP, print jobs can get caught in the Printer Spooler , which will cause pending print jobs not to print.
The pending print jobs may also prevent the printer driver from being uninstalled. Opening the Printer Spooler from the System tray and deleting the pending print jobs does not always work.

  2. Double-click Administrative Tools .
  3. Double-click Services .
  4. Find Print Spooler on the list, right-click and choose Restart .
  5. A progress message will appear and the spooler should be clear.
  6. It should now be possible to print or remove the printer driver as required.

  1. Click Start , and then click Control Panel .
  2. Double-click Performance and Maintenance .
  3. Double-click Administrative Tools .
  4. Double-click Services .
