Go to the control panel
Click on the printer and faxes
click on the add a printer on extreme left of wondow screen .
Uncheck the check box because we are going to add a printer with out detecting .
******We will create a new port for Network Installation , In that case we will select the radio button create a new port .
Then two option will come Local port and standard tcp/ip
for wired network we will select local port and for wireless we will select tcp/ip
if we are selecting tcp/ip then it will ask name and ip address then give the exact name of the printer or the ip address .then click next.*****
Here we can select the have disk also then we have to locate the file autorun.inf which is present in the HP driver cd .
Here we can select the windows update also for downloading from wesite.
