1. Scanning is not done from the solution center 

Ans:- In this case we need to locate HPQSCNVW.exe and have to run this file .

location:- c/programe files/HP/Digital Imaging/Bin/HPQSCNVW.exe

Double click on HPQSCNVW.exe  file , 
it will start scanning , 
click on accept /new scan 
click on accept
scanning done.

2.Repairing the HP solution Center

Ans:- 
Insert the driver cd in the cd tray
Explore it
setup folder
here we will see several folders
select scan
open it
here we will see many files 
locate scan.msi
right click on it 
click on repaire
